Savannah Grant grew up in central MA and then attended Smith College, where she fell in love with Western MA and decided to stay! She has been cleaning and organizing houses professionally with GreenLove since July 2018, and is reminded every day of how much she loves this work. Savannah is the current Inventory Manager and lead Deep Clean and Auto Detailing Specialist at GreenLove, roles which she is passionate about because she gets to know the GreenLove team and helps new clients with their houses all over the Pioneer Valley.

Organizing is more than shuffling things into neat piles, it is about you and your own personal renewal! Renewal is so important in achieving the space and the life you want. Organizing your home space is a perfect way to start living a fuller, simpler, more gratifying life.
Think of organization as making your space make sense again. The first part of the process is actually making a bigger mess, but don’t worry, you will have plenty of support and guidance. You may feel overwhelmed, but that’s totally normal and understandable; clutter is overwhelming! Once everything is sorted and your space is renewed, those previous feelings and energies should dissipate. Our method includes two basic principles. It doesn’t matter how you want to go about it; by category of thing, room-by-room, or whatever makes you the most comfortable. Organizing sessions can be followed by a deep-cleaning by a trusted GreenLove cleaner, or a cleaner can work in conjunction with the organization. 1. Make a mess + Sort Piles of stuff give off a tense energy that has yet to be released. Sometimes you just don’t notice the piles anymore, and that’s okay, too! But that tense energy is asking for you to "complete the mess." This means making the giant mess that finally needs to happen in order to renew the space, items, and energy. On one hand it might feel painful, difficult, or confusing when you pull all the books out of a bookshelf or dump out a handbag, but this first step in the process allows the tense energy to dissipate, and can be fun! Be reassured that you’ll be guided on where to start if it seems like a lot at once. 2. Question everything! + Re-place, renew Once the piles have been dismantled, the sorting can begin. This process can be tailored to fit your exact needs, but it essentially means questioning everything you see. Now that each item is out of its previous context, you will see them in a new light. Do you love it? Do you need it? Is it useful? Do you even remember you had it? Where can it go now? Renewing your space, re-placing what you want to keep back into the space in a new and joy-giving way, will be the most rewarding part. You have taken a profound and brave step, so make sure you have plenty of time to admire and acknowledge what you have accomplished! Our method can be tailored to your specific needs and wants. After opening up new air space in your home, the benefits will flow in! This first step might be hard, but we guarantee you'll never look back. We look forward to supporting you during this process! Client Testimonials"You know those projects that wake you up at night thinking... THIS weekend I'm going to organize the basement... get my office sorted... do something with the pantry so that I can find what I'm looking for? And then the week, month, year goes by and you have managed to avoid it yet again... but it remains this weight on your mind. After a particularly difficult year of the loss of both of my parents I knew I needed help just making progress on exactly those tasks. I needed to literally clear my slate. And that there was no way I was going to get through it alone. I had been a client of Green Eco Cleaning services in the past and knew that Amy was the perfect person to help me. I called her and we talked and she immediately gave me a sense of "no problem, we can do this!".
She made an appointment to come over and walk through each of the projects so she could hear what my goals were. We started with a deep cleaning of my home, so we could have a good baseline for regular bi-weekly cleaning, and that alone made a huge difference. She then tackled the pantry-which is a space I enter 15 times a day- and when it's feeling disorganized or cluttered it becomes a source of negative energy. Amy had a plan, and a really respectful and intuitive sense of what items should stay and what items could be moved to the basement or let go of. Her sense of order and organization was perfect for the job. I also loved how she was able to envision possibilities I could not. We then ventured forth into a multi-visit effort at organizing the dreaded basement...she was amazing. I was able to get rid of a huge number of items that served no purpose in my life anymore- and she made sure that anything that could be donated or sold was, and that anything that could be recycled was. She took care of all of that. For the first time in years I didn't feel the dread I normally did when heading down the basement stairs to do my laundry- and in fact I showed off the basement and how organized it looked to my friends whenever they visited. If you are looking for someone who is not just capable but also respectful, intuitive and generous in nature to help you lighten the load that clutter, disorganization and the weight of too much stuff can bring to your life... Amy and her team are a great choice." --Robin Jaffin, Amherst "After years of complaining about how disorganized I was and feeling overwhelmed at the task of tackling it,
I finally decided to get help. Amy was beyond wonderful to work with. Her energy is calm and down to earth and also no-nonsense - just what I needed. Amy’s suggestions and systems that she put in place have allowed me to function in my life in the way that I have always wanted to - I finally know where things are! There is now a sense of spaciousness in my house, and in my being, for which I am so so so grateful." --Jess K, Ashfield "I have had the distinct pleasure of working with Amy for four years. She has provided me and my family with significant organizational help over the years, including unpacking when we moved to town in 2011 and packing up again with our latest move. She and her staff have helped keep our busy home of three kids and a dog clean, using wonderfully safe products that made me feel good about the environmental impact of her cleaning. Amy is easy to work with, understands special needs, and is always responsive and resourceful regarding any project." --Zara Wanlass, Amherst
